Tone & Temperature — Winter Images

Taking winter pictures that tell the story of cold, assuming it is or was cold, presents a problem.  The most appealing winter images are bright, sunny and usually presented in color tones that suggest anything other then cold.

Photo Adventures

On the 2nd of April we had a big dump of snow in Calgary.  Something on the order of 20 cm.  I was not all that cold and very little wind so the build up was quite uniform.
